The Montessori phrase “Help me to do it by myself” is probably the most important concept to keep in mind for toddler. Create an environment that will help toddler gain as much independence as possible.
The Montessori Adult assists your child in developing a routine, making good social choices and provide stimulating age-appropriate activities. This program has 5 main curriculum areas: Practical Life (self-help skills), Sensorial, Language, Culture and Arithmetic.
The Montessori curriculum, techniques and materials satisfy the natural tendency for this age child to learn by doing. Independence, coordination, order, self-discipline and concentration are developed. Children work individually and cooperatively with materials that engage their curiosity. The children are given presentation using the materials and then are free to explore and observe. The aim is to develop a love of work and a joy of learning.
The Montessori pre-primary program includes exercise of practical life, Sensorial activities, Language, Arithmetic, Geography, history and life science are presented to the child through various activities.
Children require a secure “home away from home” where they can learn, play, and grow. Dew Montessori aims to provide a setup wherein parents can leave their young ones in a place that is safe and nurturing environment.Children are learning through age appropriate toys and pretend play, fun activities and enhance problem solving skills through activities like jigsaw puzzles, games etc.
We will also work with children to complete their homework.
